Preston the Preschooler
​Preston the Preschooler as told by Marianna is a delightful book that will bring meaning and excitement to the preschool classroom. The story begins with Preston arriving to school with his mom, and he is crying because he wants to stay with his mother. He doesn't want to go to school. Even though he begins his day sad about his mother leaving him, Preston quickly gets involved in the day's routines and activities. His teacher, Senorita Garcia, is loving and supportive of Preston and has a calming effect on him.

Preston the Preschooler and the Farm Truck is about visiting a truck that grows vegetables on it. The day before, all of the boys and girls predicted what they would see growing on the Farm Truck. Preston said he thought corn, potatoes, and macaroni and cheese would be growing on the Farm Truck. He loved macaroni and cheese!

During morning meeting, they talked about what they would see and do at Joyful Elementary School. Amy thought they would play on the playground. Preston thought they would have hamburgers for lunch. Marcus thought they would paint and Marianna said she hoped they had a science center. Preston was so excited about riding the school bus to Joyful Elementary School!
